DO ME IN THE PARK MARC, CUM AGAIN CHRISTOPHER KANE AND DO ME DAILY CHRISTOPHER BAILEY!

That’s what I found myself thinking after seeing their fabulous
Fall 2009 collections! (Perhaps under the influence of those cool
Henry Holland tees from 2007) I soooo still want them!

Aren’t they cute? I also loved “Give us a backhander Rachel
Alexander“, “Give us a blow Daisy Lowe“, “Cause me pain Hedi Slimane” and “Wham Bam Thank you Stam”

You can’t help but love these pair!

So here is the promised Fall 2009 Part II review. Enjoy!!!!
Do me in the parc Marc? Hell yeah! Marc Jacob’s sultry
collection for Louis Vuitton is lush! Have I died and gone
to oh-la-la heaven I wondered? The Lace, the ruffles,
the accessories, the hair pieces, the boots, Oooh! those
tight high black leather boots!!! Which reminds me…
those tigh high babies purchased last winter are soooo
going out for many a walk around the block this coming
fall… I knew it!!!

Aren’t those Louis Vuitton print tights amazing? I can’t help but
imagine them with a bit of Alice Dellal rock and roll mixed in…

It’s “feel the power of the Kane” indeed… again Mr. Kane does it
with his incredibly simple yet dead stylish and effortless uber-chic
take on the soo predictable winter checks. The guy is just brilliant!
I love him! and I am in love with this look:

Love, love, love the contrast of the masculinity of the sweater
against the gorgeous and delicate dress, the model’s bed hair
and overnight make up style the brogues… Perfection! My fave
winter look. This is what I would wear whilst spending the winter
tucked in a wooden house somewhere snowy, sitting by the fire
drinking wisky, smoking a cigar and reading a good book. Roll on
winter!!!

Really! we are all wanting a bit of daily Christopher Bailey
at Burberry Prorsum, will he ever get it wrong? Quintessentially
British as ever yet young, fresh and efortlessly cool!

Another man very close to my heart this season is Mr Chalayan.
Is all a bit blow-up-doll-meets-futuristic-fabulous at Hussein
Chalayan’s this Fall and I love it! This is how to do avant-garde
provocative and with tons of taste. Would you dare? I would!!!
Love, love, love those boots!

Miuccia is always right in each collection, she is just perfect!
This fall at Prada she gives us utilitarian war inspired clothes,
very 1940’s, WWII, with hints of Gladiator women and a feeling
of going back to basics. It is all about surviving on rations but
still managing to look proud, stylish and elegant even in the
toughest of times.

It reminds me a bit of the gorgeous Monica Belluci in her role as
Malena in the beautiful Italian movie and how she always managed to remain beautiful and stylish despite what she went through.
Talk about stylish invincible warriors! Bring it on!!!
I am oh-so-loving those “fisherman” boots! Is adios Hunters
and hola fisherman booties. I so want a pair of those to wear
over pretty girly woolly dresses and wool tights this winter.

So long summer!
XO

idk if prada has won me over this season. ive looked at some more pieces from the collection, very haunting and powerful but not sure if i’m in love with it.
I love it cause I am currently obsessed with “the war spirit” – I found a really old and rusty boot polish tin in an antiques market in London, which I keep in my room next to a cute vintage war print that reads: ” For a healthy and happy job – join the women’s land army” http://www.archiveshub.ac.uk/nov04a.shtml
